The Story of the Tyrannosaurus Rex

Hello, I am a Tyrannosaurus rex. My big name means 'Tyrant Lizard King'. I was called that because I was one of the biggest and strongest dinosaurs. I was as long as a bus. When I let out a roar, it was super loud for everyone to hear. I was a very big dinosaur with a very big sound.

My body was awesome. I had a giant head with huge, sharp teeth. My teeth were as big as bananas. I also had two tiny arms. My arms had only two little fingers each. They were so short they could not even reach my mouth. But my legs were very different. I had two strong legs that were great for stomping around. I also had a long, heavy tail that helped me balance when I walked.

I lived a very long time ago, during a time called the Cretaceous Period. I am not here anymore, but you can still learn all about me. People find my big bones, which are called fossils, and put them together. When you go to a museum, you can see my nearly complete skeletons. You can imagine my giant stomps and be happy that you know the story of the Tyrant Lizard King.
