Nikola Tesla
Hello. My name is Nikola. A long time ago, in the year 1856, I was born. When I was a little boy, I loved to watch big, flashy lightning storms. They weren't scary to me, they were exciting. I had a fuzzy black cat named Macak. One day, as I petted him, I saw tiny sparks fly from his fur. It was like magic. It tickled my fingers. That little spark made me feel so curious. I wanted to learn all about a special kind of power called electricity. I wondered if I could make sparks just like the ones in the sky.
When I grew up, I had a giant idea in my head. I wanted to send electricity everywhere, to every home, so everyone could have light. I imagined a new kind of electricity that could travel super far, like a river that never stops flowing. So, I moved to a big country called America to make my dream happen. I worked very, very hard in my workshop, drawing pictures of my ideas and building new things. I was always thinking and dreaming of a world where lights could glow bright, and machines could whir and help people with their work.
Guess what? My dream came true. I showed everyone how my special electricity could light up thousands of sparkling bulbs all at once. It was beautiful, like a festival of lights. After a long life full of bright ideas, I grew very old and then I died. But my ideas helped power the world, making things like radios and even remote controls possible. I learned that if you have a curious mind and a big dream, you can help make the world a brighter place for everyone.
